AcobiaFLUX has been closely associated with Omron for many years. Omron is a solid player in sensing technology and the machine supplier segment amongst others. AcobiaFLUX has a lot of experience working with Omron’s sensing and control technologies.
AcobiaFLUX has been active within the sensor system market since 2005. It is an area that is developing rapidly, and we are able to benefit from this by keeping ourselves up to date with the latest advances in order to provide the most modern, efficient techniques for our customers. These developments result in products that are more cost-effective, dynamic and powerful – not to mention much more user-friendly.
Ease-of-use is an area that has made clear progress. Installation of sensor systems is easier today than it has ever been, a phenomenon AcobiaFLUX has observed by encountering sensor technology on increasing numbers of sites.
There are a number of companies on the market who manufacture sensor systems, and AcobiaFLUX has investigated and tested several of them over the years. However, today we work exclusively with equipment from Omron, who have shown themselves to be stable partners, who now have many excellent quality control and sensor technology products.
Gurusoft has developed innovative web solutions for many years, and their experience has led them to become market leaders with their product Gurusoft Report, from which they developed Gurusoft Report TM – EOS. Gurusoft Report – EOS is a modern system for the collection and processing of energy data, which assists in optimising energy usage.
AcobiaFLUX has a contract with the Norwegian company Gurusoft to be a distributor of their product for energy tracking. The system is intended for all for whom energy tracking is of interest – for example buildings, apartments, industrial sites etc. The system is very informative and easy to work with. It is completely web-based and the user can create either diagrams or table-based reports. It has been developed in Norway since 1988 and has a large user-base. AcobiaFLUX is pleased to introduce this product to the Swedish market.
AcobiaFLUX is a Scandinavian distribution agent for the fire alarm system LISTEC.
The complete package for fire protection in demanding industrial and technical environments, easily integrated with your current systems. The entire range is covered – from sensors to databases for analysis and history, and with full traceability of manual changes, values, alarms and other events. (NB: Product sheet in Swedish).
The LIST®controller , with its ARM9TM embedded processor and two secondary processors, is the new generation control and evaluation unit for LIST® systems. The three processor system allows rapid and reliable recognition, detection and signalling of fires. One or two sensor cable lengths or group of sensor cable branches may be connected to the controller, which performs the cyclic addressing of all connected sensors to receive actual temperature values with a high resolution and an exceptional recurring accuracy.
SEC 20 Sensor Cable
The hermetically sealed sensor cable contains small hybrid circuits which, depending on the application, are placed at selectable intervals. The hybrids, which contain an integrated circuit with a defined address and a semiconductor temperature sensor, are electrically connected by a flat flexible cable.
Autic AS is a Norwegian distributor for Citect, Sixnet and other products. AcobiaFLUX and Autic have a relationship which goes several years back, and has now been strengthened by AcobiaFLUX opening their first office in Larvik, Norway.
Autic AS is one of Norway’s leading suppliers of software and hardware for automation and industrial IT. Autic AS also supplies advanced communication solutions to the industry. Autic AS has a wide product offering which includes:
- Operator panels
- Panel PCs
- I/O systems
Schneider Electric is a big player in the automation market with a wide selection of products. AcobiaFLUX constantly uses their control systems, SCADA systems and HMIs.
Schneider Electric owns Citect and sells it together with Beijer Electronics. AcobiaFLUX is a major system integrator for Citect, and we therefore benefit greatly from the collaboration with Schneider Electric. AcobiaFLUX even works with control systems from Schneider Electric, such as Premium and M340.
Siemens is one of the absolute largest players in the industry. Many of AcobiaFLUX’s clients use Siements products, specifically the control systems S5 and S7, as well as the SCADA system WinCC.
Malthe Winje supplies the popular system SAIA amongst others, which AcobiaFLUX har used in many installations.
COPA-DATA is a new player in the SCADA system market in Sweden. COPA-DATA’s SCADA system is called zenon and is built upon a modern .NET-based platform.
zenon from COPA-DATA is BMW’s global standard for SCADA systems. zenon is often used in breweries and the pharmaceutical industry.
AcobiaFLUX and COPA-DATA have begun a partnership in order to draw upon our respective strengths. zenon is a modern and technically superior product that fits well with our processes.
Novotek has developed iFix, which is a SCADA system AcobiaFLUX has worked with for many years.
Beckhoff has an interesting product offering, and AcobiaFLUX is testing their PC-based PLCs, SoftPLC. Our relationship is fairly new, but we see good potential in continued collaboration.

AcobiaFLUX are now certified KNX Partners as an integral part of our work with energy efficiency and lighting control. This means that we are now on the internationally searchable database of companies who are certified to work with KNX via the KNX Association.
Whether in a single-family house or in an office complex, the demand for comfort and versatility in the management of air-conditioning, lighting and access control systems is growing. At the same time, the efficient use of energy is becoming increasingly important. More convenience and safety coupled with lower energy consumption can however only be achieved by intelligent control and monitoring of all products involved. This however implies more wiring, running from the sensors and actuators to the control and monitoring centres. Such a mass of wiring in turn means higher design and installation effort, increased fire risk and soaring costs.
In order to transfer control data to all building management components, a system is required that does away with the problems of isolated devices by ensuring that all components communicate via one common language: in short, a system such as the manufacturer and application domains independent KNX Bus. This standard is based upon more than 20 years of experience in the market.
Via the KNX medium to which all bus devices are connected (twisted pair, radio frequency, power line or IP/Ethernet), they are able to exchange information. Bus devices can either be sensors or actuators needed for the control of building management equipment such as: lighting, blinds / shutters, security systems, energy management, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, signaling and monitoring systems, interfaces to service and building control systems, remote control, metering, audio / video control, white goods, etc. All these functions can be controlled, monitored and signaled via a uniform system without the need for extra control centres.
